Typical Applications
Intumescent coatings: On account of its low water solubility, Tekanol AP 322 is particularly suitable as an ”acid donor” for intumescent coatings. Polyurethane foams: Tekanol AP 322 is a suitable non-halogenated flame retardant for flexible and rigid urethane foams, polyurethane foams, PU. Tekanol AP 322 has an excellent flame-retardant effect in cellulose-containing materials (paper, wood products..) Tekanol AP 322 with high heat stability, is an essential component in intumescent formulations for thermoplastics, particularly polyolefine and rubber.
